The perfect travel destination based on your zodiac sign
Traveling is what we are born for, many people would say. But, is it always easy to choose the perfect place? Some of us enjoy sandy beaches during the summer, while others want to spend autumn on rocky cliffs. Some people prefer mountain vacations, and others want to hang out in the snow all day. It’s clear we all have different travel tastes, but we can’t tell why that is. However, astrologists claim that it’s all written in the stars and most of our decisions in life depend on our zodiac sign. You may agree with this or you may not, but you must admit it’s interesting to analyze why some people like certain places and can’t stand others.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Aries people are energetic and explosive. It’s impossible for them to sit by a poolside for the whole vacation. They would rather have an active holiday where they can visit many different things and never staying in one place for too long. Trips like visiting ancient temples or a tour of seaside villages in Thailand are vacations that an Aries would love. A Nile cruise is also a good choice if you want to surprise them for their birthday.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
The self-indulging Taurus loves luxury when at all possible. A vacation is the best time of the year for this pleasure loving sign to satisfy their needs. The best places for a Taurean are relaxing destinations where they can enjoy complete comfort. Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa, the Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, Willamette or a wine country retreat are some of the vacation ideas that every Taurus will love.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Gemini travelers are perfect companions because they are at ease with any place very quickly. They’re always interested to see and do new things, so it won’t be hard to please them. What can be problematic here is that Gemini’s airy nature makes them restless and they can become bored if they stay for too long in one place. That’s why it’s perfect if they hop from island to island in Croatia or Greece. Or have a long weekend in Rome where they can stay busy all the time.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
These water signs like to stay close to their friends and family and take care of everybody. A vacation in a family house on a lakeside in Italy, a family trip in the Wyoming woods or a tour in Maine’s vacationland is what will make them happy. Cozy and intimate places with not too much noise.
Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Leos are where the action is. They like to spend their vacations in places where there’s a lot of going on and show the world the coolest Instagram photos. So, yachting in the South of France, partying in Ibiza, or an exciting week in New York is what will make a Leo person happy.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
Virgos are the biggest perfectionists in the whole Zodiac. Their itinerary is always detailed and well planned. The best restaurants and coffee shops, free events, biking and walking tours are things that will keep them satisfied. A bike tour in southern Italy or high-end dude ranches in Montana are perfect destinations for Virgo’s vacation.
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Librans like itineraries that balance peace and variety. They love tranquility but also need to be in a place full of cultural sights, shops, and restaurants. Perfect places for Libras are yoga retreats, peaceful coastal towns, or charming island lodging.
Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)
Scorpios like to commune with nature and spend lots of time in the woods, but this doesn’t mean that they would spend two weeks in the wilderness. Combining nature with modern conveniences is the best thing you can do for your Scorpio friend. A forest lodge in a national park or a cottage near a lake is what you need to be looking for.
Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)
Sagittarius wants to discover virgin places, hidden corners of the Earth or visit places where nobody goes. Mongolia, Taos, New Mexico or Iceland are perfect destinations for this fire sign.
Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)
A family vacation in a big house in Big Sur is what will make a reserved Capricorn happy. They love the combination of family time and having fun. Volunteering programs are also a good option because these people need to stay occupied and feel useful.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
Their originality sometimes leads them to natural wonders off the beaten path, but they also want to return to places they have already visited before. Brazil’s Iguaçu Falls, the Bolivian salt flats, or Northern Lights spotting in Finland are some of the vacations that an Aquarius would like to have.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
These dreamy signs need vacations! If you’re traveling with a Pisces, choose a place that has plenty of natural wonders, but also cultural events. Keep them busy, but also leave lots of time for daydreaming. Plitvice Lakes in Croatia is a perfect spot for the watery Pisces.
