Kiawah is a sea island on the Atlantic Coast of South Carolina that offers 10 miles of sandy beaches and around 10,000 acres of forest. Kiawah is a place where you’ll get plenty of sun and sand and where every member of the family will find beach facilities suitable for any age. The name of the island originates from the Kiawah Indians who were the first residents here and in 1670 led the English colonists to settle at what we know today as  Charleston.

Myrtle Beach

Many families prefer this beach before the other South Carolina beaches because of the variety of fun activities offered here. Here you can find a 60 mile long continuous beach stretch known as the Grand Strand, a chain of diverse sandy destinations for all tastes. You can pick your favorite spot depending on the needs of your family.

If you are a luxury resort fan, try North Myrtle Beach, if a quiet fishing village is what you’re looking for, then Little River Village may be your desired destination. For family-focused beaches go to Garden City and if you want a laidback vacation, visit Litchfield and Pawleys Island.

Myrtle Beach Grand Strand is also an affordable destination for any family budget. You can find good prices on lodging, food, and all the extra outdoor activities. Another good thing is that no matter where you decide to settle for your vacation, you can reach the other beaches in a very short car ride.
